Welcome to Drum Outfitters!

Phil Hendrickson started Drum Outfitters in 2023 to help drummers be more confident, creative, and musical. We specialize in unique and boutique products and hometown service to inspire the drumming community. Our goal is to provide an environment that has the same joy, excitement, and camaraderie of the great drum shows and expos (Chicago, Music City, PASIC) at any time of year. We want drummers of all levels to know they can come here to meet equipment needs, find inspiration, and learn how to take their musical creativity higher.

We love Seward, Nebraska, and Seward loves music! Seward has one of the longest-running community bands in the country, very strong school music programs, and a tradition of music at the heart of Concordia University since 1894. Drum Outfitters supports the music community by offering workshops, performances, and other opportunities to gather as musicians to share knowledge and grow. We love drum history and the interesting stories behind vintage drums.

At Drum Outfitters, drummers can see, touch, and play instruments made by many small, independent craftsmen around the country, to truly get a feel for these unique and inspiring works of art and discover how they can contribute to new musical projects.
